A Warm Welcome to Our Story
Crafty Shenanigans began with a simple need close to home. In 2010, I started making soaps and bath products for my children, who were sensitive to commercial bath and body items. What began as a way to care for my family quickly grew into a passion, and soon friends and relatives were asking for the same gentle, handmade products.
Every item we offer is made from scratch—never from premade bases. From soaps and lotions to candles, wax melts, balms, and perfumes, each recipe is crafted, poured, and finished by hand. Small‑batch production allows us to control every ingredient, every scent blend, and every detail, ensuring the quality and care you can feel in each product.
In June 2020, Crafty Shenanigans officially opened its doors and joined the Kansas Grown! Farmers Market. Since then, we’ve loved connecting with our community at events like Grace Hill’s Artisan Fair and the Kansas Maze Sunflower Market—places that have become part of our story just as much as the products themselves.
We’re proudly based in Derby, Kansas, a place that has been home for most of our lives. Whether we’re at the market, at a fair, or creating in the studio, Derby is at the heart of everything we do. Crafty Shenanigans is more than a business; it’s a piece of our home shared with yours.

You can usually find us at farmers markets and craft fairs throughout the Wichita area, and when we’re not set up in person, our online shop is open 24/7. We offer free market‑day pickup during the season and free local delivery within Derby, making it easy to get your favorites anytime.
